Job Requirements
- High school education or GED preferred
- Associate’s or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Three years' full-time experience in a 911 system preferred
- Paramedic license in state of practice required
- AHA Basic Life Support certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21 years required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety certification required

Job Duties
- Provide individualized care plans for patient presentation according to medical practice standards and department policies
- Provide emergency care in pre-hospital environment
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, privacy, and respect within perioperative setting
- Develop expertise in surgical specialties
- Conduct emergency medical classes as requested
- Administer oral and intravenous medications
- Intubate patients or perform surgical airway insertion and place venous access catheters
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
