Job Requirements
- Education: current certification/licensure in the State of Texas as a Paramedic
- EMT-P required
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a field Paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital
- Completion of initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility, and department
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Participate in CQI projects
- Maintain clinical competence
- Maintain competence in documentation
- Utilize SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) for communication
- Support and represent the facility's Mission, Vision, Values while performing the role
- Attend meetings and in-services as required by departmental policy
