Job Requirements

  • Current Colorado State Emergency Technician (EMT P) or (EMT B) license required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital preferred

Job Qualifications

  • NREMT-P or NREMT-B preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • ENPC and TNCC preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital preferred

Job Duties

  • Implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively
  • Work under the direct supervision and responsibility of Emergency Department physicians performing care as per physician's orders, policies, procedures, and established standards
  • Perform lab testing as assigned based on protocol, document results accurately and communicate critical findings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations demonstrating clinical expertise
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies
