Job Requirements
- Three years of experience as a Paramedic in an emergency department or emergency pre-hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or GED within one year of hire
- Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program recognized by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Current registered Paramedic with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
- Ability to perform medium work requiring exertion of up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide safe and effective patient care within scope of practice
- Follow physician orders and established healthcare standards
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to decide patient care interventions
- Operate under direction of hospital-based Medical Director
- Ensure quality care for patients and their families
- Maintain adherence to Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment regulations
- Communicate effectively within a team environment
