Job Requirements
- Current certification/licensure as a Paramedic in the State of Texas
- EMT-P required
- current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- minimum 2 years of experience as a field Paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital
- ability to complete initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit
- obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of employment
- obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment
- obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 30 days of employment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Participate in CQI projects
- maintain clinical competence
- maintain competence in documentation
- utilize SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) for communication
- support and represent the facility's Mission, Vision, Values while performing the role
- attend meetings and in-services as required by departmental policy
