Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • valid state EMT-P certification/EMS license
  • must maintain EMS license throughout employment
  • current CPR and first aid certifications
  • completion of ACLS course
  • at least two years of EMT/paramedic experience
  • able to respond to after-hours injuries via pager
  • knowledge of HIPAA and PHI compliance
  • ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • good clerical and administrative skills

Job Duties

  • Develop, coordinate and implement a comprehensive injury and illness prevention program for employees
  • administer prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency or in specially equipped vehicle
  • act as liaison between employee/employer and Concentra Onsite Medical Center
  • provide physical conditioning and wellness training to employees
  • conduct CPR, first aid, and bloodborne pathogens training
  • conduct alcohol and urine drug screening according to regulations
  • determine nature and extent of illness or injury, establish first aid procedures, and arrange additional assistance as needed
