Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of EMT Basic/Intermediate program and acceptance for licensure in PA
- EVOC certification
- Maintain current and valid EMT Paramedic license
- Maintain current and valid ALS certification
- Maintain certification cards for skill-based pay levels such as BTLS, PALS, NALS
- Maintain other required certifications
- Maintain current CPR card
- One year related experience preferred
- Maintain current, valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and move up to 175 pounds regularly
- Basic computer knowledge for electronic documentation and timekeeping
- Pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical required
- Background screening as part of the new hire process
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of EMT Basic/Intermediate program with acceptance for licensure in Pennsylvania
- Valid and current EMT Paramedic license
- Current ALS certification
- Certification in skill-based programs such as BTLS, PALS, NALS, or equivalent
- Valid CPR certification
- Previous related experience is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license
- Basic computer skills for electronic documentation and timekeeping
Job Duties
- Render exceptional patient care in both pre-hospital and inter-facility settings
- Deliver superb customer service to patients, their families, neighbors, and facility staff
- Maintain compliance with all emergency treatment and transportation protocols according to company policy and local regulations
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance as a representative of Keystone Quality Transport
- Ensure cleanliness of workspaces including vehicles, offices, and facilities
- Safely operate and maintain assigned emergency vehicles and equipment
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, facilities, and dispatch
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills consistent with standards set forth by the U.S. Department of Transportation and Department of Health
