Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Current California paramedic certification
- Santa Clara County system badge or ability to obtain
- California Class C driver’s license
- Ambulance driver’s license
- AHA BLS certification
- International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- PALS/PEPP certification
- Valid TB test and immunizations
- Ability to lift up to 125 pounds frequently and up to 200 pounds occasionally
- Must maintain composure under stress
- Must communicate effectively
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- Current California paramedic certification

- California Class C driver’s license
- Ambulance driver’s license
- AHA BLS certification
- International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- PALS/PEPP certification
- Valid TB test and immunizations (HepB, MMR, DTap, Varicella)
- Experience in providing ALS and patient care
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing education and development
Job Duties
- Prompt and regular attendance at work
- Provide quality patient care utilizing paramedic standards of care
- Provide basic and advanced life support according to protocols
- Assess and treat medical situations maintaining highest patient care and professionalism
- Maintain neat and professional appearance
- Maintain ambulance and equipment in clean and response-ready condition
- Complete patient care reports accurately and timely
- Adhere to all policies and procedures
- Maintain current state and county certifications
- Communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and through radio
- Demonstrate compassion and dedication to patient confidentiality
- Attend all continuing medical education courses
- Develop and maintain relationships with medical community
- Handle protected health information in compliance with HIPAA
- Participate in company events and meetings
- Support Royal’s mission, values, and quality standards
