Job Requirements
- Possess a National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic (NREMT-P) certification
- Hold American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification
- At least one year of general experience demonstrating ability to greet and deal tactfully with the public
- Capability to understand and apply written and verbal orders, rules, and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Must maintain current physical residency in the continental U.S.
- Pass a medical examination conducted by a licensed physician within 30 days prior to assignment
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status
- Resided in the U.S. for the last five years unless on official U.S. government duty abroad
- Successfully complete a thorough background investigation
- Possess or have the ability to obtain required security clearances
- Ability to perform hazardous physical duties including lifting over 30 pounds, jogging or fast walking up to a quarter-mile, performing emergency care standing or kneeling, seeing, hearing, and smelling with or without aids
- Ability to work under stressful and austere conditions without physical limitations
- Proficiency in Spanish preferred

Job Duties
- Evaluate patient's condition to properly stabilize for treatment
- Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation on patients using techniques such as intravenous insertion, intubation, and drug administration
- Determine advanced medical implications of wounds to provide appropriate treatment
- Stabilize patients with physical injuries including fractures, dislocations, and sprains
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate appropriate medical follow-up
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation as required
