Job Requirements

  • Hold current NYS DOH and NYC REMAC Paramedic certification
  • Possess valid driver's license
  • Maintain up-to-date ACLS, PALS, and BCLS certifications from AHA
  • Demonstrate physical fitness suitable for patient lifting and transport
  • Exhibit mental readiness and ethical integrity
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and high-pressure situations

Job Qualifications

  • Current NYS DOH and NYC REMAC Paramedic certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • ACLS certification from AHA
  • PALS certification from AHA
  • BCLS certification from AHA
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure and in unpredictable environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Provide advanced prehospital care based on clinical training
  • Assess patients for signs of illness or injury and stabilize efficiently
  • Ensure safe and monitored transport to medical facilities
  • Manage accident scenes and communicate with dispatch and emergency services
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Operate and prepare ambulances and specialized equipment for service
  • Attend mandatory training and maintain all required certifications
