Job Requirements
- One year experience within an active EMS system providing advanced life support (ALS) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current NJ paramedic certification or eligibility for reciprocity
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or equivalent certifications
- ICS-100 and IS-700 upon hire
- ICS-200 and IS-800 within first year
- Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record
- Driver must be between the ages of 21 and 79
- Proof of valid personal automobile insurance
- No driving violations or accidents in past three years
- Full-time availability, 36 hours per week
- Day shift availability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current NJ paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity
- NREMT-P preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP or EPC certifications
- ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent upon hire
- ICS-200 or equivalent and IS-800 or equivalent within first year of employment
- Current state issued driver’s license with clean driving record
- Proof of valid personal automobile insurance coverage in the state of New Jersey
- No reported driving-related violations or accidents in the past three years
Job Duties
- Provide pre-hospital advanced life support (ALS) care in all weather conditions
- Cooperate with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team
- Render care to patients of all ages experiencing injury or illness
- Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport patients
- Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties to support efficient EMS operations
- Maintain a professional attitude and communication at all times
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure skill currency
