Job Requirements

  • Hold current NYS DOH and NYC REMAC Paramedic certification
  • possess a valid driver's license
  • maintain ACLS, PALS, and BCLS certifications
  • demonstrate physical fitness and ability to lift and transport patients
  • have experience operating in unpredictable and high-pressure environments
  • adhere to professional ethics and confidentiality
  • maintain mental readiness and composure under stress

Job Qualifications

  • Current NYS DOH and NYC REMAC Paramedic certification
  • valid driver's license
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • PALS certification from the American Heart Association
  • BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • experience in advanced prehospital care
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Assess patients for signs of illness or injury
  • provide advanced prehospital care and stabilization
  • safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition
  • manage accident and emergency scenes
  • communicate effectively with dispatch and other emergency services
  • document patient care accurately and thoroughly
  • prepare ambulances and equipment for service after calls
