Job Requirements
- Hold current NYS DOH and NYC REMAC Paramedic certification
- possess a valid driver's license
- maintain ACLS, PALS, and BCLS certifications
- demonstrate physical fitness and ability to lift and transport patients
- have experience operating in unpredictable and high-pressure environments
- adhere to professional ethics and confidentiality
- maintain mental readiness and composure under stress
Job Qualifications
- Current NYS DOH and NYC REMAC Paramedic certification
- valid driver's license
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
- experience in advanced prehospital care
- strong communication skills
- ability to work under pressure
Job Duties
- Assess patients for signs of illness or injury
- provide advanced prehospital care and stabilization
- safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition
- manage accident and emergency scenes
- communicate effectively with dispatch and other emergency services
- document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- prepare ambulances and equipment for service after calls
