Job Requirements

  • Current certification as a paramedic
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification
  • Previous experience as a certified EMT or paramedic
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with medical equipment and clinical procedures

Job Duties

  • Rapidly assess patients for adverse reactions or medical emergencies during imaging procedures
  • Monitor vital signs, ECG, and mental status, reporting any abnormalities
  • Provide basic and advanced life support (ACLS) as needed
  • Administer medications and perform procedures as directed by a physician or radiologist
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and medications
  • Assist with patient readiness, positioning, and overall clinical safety
  • Support supply and inventory management to ensure readiness at all times
