Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food prep or kitchen duties preferred
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Physical capability to handle rigorous job functions including lifting, standing, and bending
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills including reading and comprehending instructions and policy documents
  • Comfortable conversing with customers
  • Experience in a food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Follows recipes and/or product directions for proper food preparation
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart
  • Prepares appropriate equipment for cooking
  • Operates kitchen utensils and/or equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, straining, slicing, assembling and kneading of food products
  • Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
  • Receives and inventories food and beverage product and supplies
  • Cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment
