Palm Court and Monkey Bar are distinguished dining and social venues located within a prestigious hotel in Boca Raton, renowned for upholding Forbes Five Star Service standards. Palm Court has recently undergone a complete transformation featuring a fresh design that respects the hotel’s celebrated Spanish Colonial architecture. It serves as a vibrant social hub, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with stunning coastal views. This elegant setting is perfect for a variety of occasions, from intimate date nights to lively gatherings with friends. Guests at Palm Court enjoy innovative cocktails created with a blend of classic and modern mixology techniques, complemented by an array of champagnes, light bites, and an extensive wine selection.
Monkey Bar is a unique, members-only bar and lounge nestled within the same property, exuding a luxurious South Pacific ambiance. This exotic and playful space is dedicated to club members and their guests, offering tropical tiki-inspired cocktails, creative small plates, and an inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxation after a day at the pool or tennis courts. The bar also features an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy fine cigars alongside an impressive curated selection of beverages.
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead both Palm Court and Monkey Bar with a commitment to excellence in service and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training, developing, and supporting staff, ensuring that team members not only deliver impeccable service but also develop meaningful connections with members and guests by learning their preferences and names. This role provides the opportunity to manage a dynamic team within an iconic and evolving setting, playing a vital part in maintaining and exceeding the high standards expected of a Forbes Five Star establishment.
The Restaurant Manager will act as the operational leader for both venues, conducting interviews, selecting and training staff, scheduling shifts, and overseeing the daily function of each outlet. Responsibilities include maximizing profitability by regulating food, beverage, and labor costs while meeting budget targets. The successful candidate will also establish and maintain par stock levels, evaluate operational cost-effectiveness, and implement profit enhancement strategies.
Technological proficiency is important in this role, with expectations to utilize software for billing, forecasting, reporting, and system management. Regular interaction with guests to assess satisfaction and resolve any issues is a key component, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations is mandatory, alongside fostering a clean and safe working environment.
This position also involves contribution to the development and marketing of innovative menus tailored to desired customer demographics, promoting cross-outlet sales within the hotel, and maintaining top-notch public relations in the community. Additional supportive duties include participation in budget planning, attending essential meetings, and performing other tasks as assigned. Physical demands of the position require the manager to be active and mobile throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs and moving equipment weighing as much as 250 lbs.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability
- Physical ability to stand walk and move throughout the work environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and push or pull carts up to 250 lbs occasionally
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and standards
- Clean background check and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a restaurant manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills

Job Duties
- Interview select train supervise counsel and discipline restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and department meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff such as VIPs and menu changes
- Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments
- Maximize restaurant department profitability implement effective controls of food beverage and labor costs and monitor the restaurant’s budget to ensure efficient operations including achieving budgeted revenue and labor expenses
- Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory ordering retrieving and stocking product
- Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation
- Develop and implement cost savings and profit enhancement measures
- Utilize computers to accurately charge customers create forecast and revenue reports and draft correspondence
- Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take corrective action to ensure food quality and service standards are met
- Work with the CDC to ensure food quality and product meet standards
- Provide guidance for improvement and implement necessary adjustments for consistency
- Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the restaurant recommend and implement new marketing and or operational policies and procedures when necessary to keep up with demand and market changes investigate and resolve food quality and service complaints
- Interact positively with customers
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to the restaurant and all local state and federal laws and regulations
- Ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation of all work and service areas
- Participate in developing implementing and marketing new and creative menus to attract a predetemined customer market
- Promote cross selling of other hotel outlets and the company
