Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be physically able to handle lifting and standing requirements
- Ability to follow uniform and appearance guidelines
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Previous full-service restaurant experience preferred
- Experience using POS systems
- Barista and food-handling experience required, hospitality and fine dining preferred
- Strong knowledge of coffee, tea and smoothies
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Job Duties
- Submit guest menu selections
- Present food and beverage preferences to guests
- Gain and share menu knowledge and recommendations
- Engage in casual conversation with guests
- Maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Complete side work according to F&B standard procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Anticipate and serve guest needs proactively
- Communicate guest complaints to management
- Collaborate as part of a multi-unit team
- Ensure the floor is clean and free of debris
