Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Previous full-service restaurant experience preferred
- Experience using POS systems
- Barista and food-handling experience required with hospitality and fine dining preferred
- Strong knowledge of coffee, tea and smoothies
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Job Duties
- Submit guest menu selections
- Present food and beverage preferences
- Gain menu knowledge and recommend cuisine and drinks
- Engage in casual conversation to create the Palm Court experience
- Conduct general outlet preparation
- Maintain a sanitary environment
- Complete opening and closing side work
- Advise manager of complaints promptly
- Maintain neat and organized work area
- Ensure floors are clean and free of debris
- Perform side work according to F&B standard operating procedures
- Ensure an attendant is present at Palm Court at all times
- Anticipate and serve guest requirements proactively
- Work cooperatively in a multi-unit team
