Job Description

Golden Valley Health Centers is a leading healthcare organization committed to providing comprehensive medical services to diverse communities across California. With a strong emphasis on accessibility, quality care, and community wellness, Golden Valley Health Centers operates numerous clinics and health centers, including the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) centers, which focus on managing the healthcare needs of elderly individuals with complex medical conditions. Their mission centers around enhancing the health outcomes and quality of life for their patients by integrating primary care, specialty care, and supportive services within a compassionate and respectful environment. Golden Valley Health Centers is recognized for its dedication to patient-centered care and its inclusive workforce that values cultural competence and collaboration.

The Administrative Receptionist position within the PACE program at Golden Valley Health Centers is a vital role designed to support the administrative functions of the PACE director and leadership team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a healthcare setting that provides specialized services to elderly patients, including those with cognitive decline and physical frailties. The primary work location for this role will initially be at the Modesto center until the Stockton location is operational, ensuring a strong foundation of training and integration. Scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the role is compensated at an hourly rate between $21.58 and $22.66, reflecting the organization’s commitment to fair and competitive wages.

As an Administrative Receptionist, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, demonstrating professionalism and a welcoming demeanor in all interactions. Your responsibilities will span answering and directing administrative calls, typing and preparing various documents including correspondence and reports, and managing office supplies. The role also includes important project-based tasks and event coordination, such as scheduling meetings, organizing logistics, and assisting with special projects to support PACE administration and leadership.

Additionally, the Administrative Receptionist will be required to maintain confidentiality, recognize changes in participant conditions to report to licensed nurses, and represent the PACE program at community functions when necessary. This position demands a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently in a healthcare environment. Exposure to biohazards and the physical demands of the role, including lifting and active movement within the office, requires a candidate who is physically capable and attentive to safety protocols.

Golden Valley Health Centers offers excellent benefits such as medical insurance with no deductible and reasonable out-of-pocket maximums, dental and vision coverage, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and wellness incentives including gym discounts. Joining this team not only means working for a reputable healthcare provider but also becoming part of a dedicated community striving to make a positive impact on elderly care through the PACE program.
