Job Description
The ZCS Performing Arts Center (PAC) is a premier venue dedicated to hosting a wide range of performing arts events, community gatherings, and rental activities. Located within the ZCS community, the PAC serves as a cultural hub where artists, performers, and audiences come together to experience the arts in a vibrant and state-of-the-art environment. The center features modern facilities designed to accommodate diverse events including theatrical productions, concerts, dance performances, lectures, and special community functions. The staff at the PAC is committed to providing exceptional service, maintaining the venue's high standards, and fostering an inviting atmosphere for both performers and patrons alike.
The Classified/PAC Event Manager plays a crucial role within the PAC team, overseeing the overall building support for various rental events held at the venue. This position acts as the direct liaison between the Performing Arts Center and all internal and external rental customers. The Event Manager’s responsibilities are comprehensive, encompassing coordination before the event, active management during the event, and follow-up after the event concludes. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of event management within a performing arts setting.
The Event Manager ensures that all events proceed smoothly by coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including technical staff, vendors, performers, and clients. They manage scheduling, logistical planning, and on-site support to create a seamless event experience. The job also involves troubleshooting any issues during events, maintaining the facility’s operational standards, and providing excellent customer service to uphold the PAC's reputation. This role is ideally suited for someone with experience in event coordination, facility management, or customer service within an arts or cultural venue. The ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and adapt quickly to changing event needs are vital traits for success in this position.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in event coordination or management
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- familiarity with performing arts environments preferred
