We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic Restaurant Food Runner to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for individuals who share a genuine love for the service industry and an entrepreneurial spirit that drives exceptional guest experiences. The Food Runner acts as a crucial link between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages to guests with grace, professionalism, and attentiveness. This position demands excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As a key part of the hospitality team, the Food Runner helps maintain the high standards of hospitality and service that define The LINE brand, guaranteeing that every guest’s visit is memorable and seamless.

The ideal candidate will embody a courteous and gracious approach while constantly upholding a professional demeanor. Responsibilities include coordinating with colleagues and different hotel departments to unify efforts that elevate the guest experience. The Food Runner must have a working knowledge of the POS system to effectively track orders and coordinate service activities. Timeliness and accuracy in delivering orders contribute not only to guest satisfaction but also to the smooth operation of the dining environment. Additionally, this role requires active participation in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining space, assisting in setups, breakdowns, and side work tasks that support overall service excellence. Candidates with prior hospitality or service experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will thrive in this role.

Job Duties

  • Must be courteous and gracious maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  • establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
  • offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the companys standards of excellence professionalism and friendliness
  • demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service following this sequence for every guest
  • possess knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically coordinate with team members
  • ensure that food and beverages are delivered to the table in a timely manner
  • clear mark and take ownership of table maintenance and clean and reset tables
  • assist with any clean up set up and break down of the dining room
  • complete assigned side work
  • assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers
  • maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
  • participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
