Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • minimum 2 years general restaurant experience
  • previous high volume oyster bar experience preferred
  • ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • strong communication skills
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • ability to understand and apply written and verbal instruction
  • punctual and reliable attendance
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • authorized to work in the United States
  • able to stand for long periods
  • able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds
  • no food sensitivities or allergies

Job Qualifications

  • Aloha or Toast experience preferred

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • prepare and maintain the raw bar area according to established operational procedures
  • collaborate closely with kitchen management and staff to assist with food preparation as needed
  • follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation
  • expertly and efficiently shuck oysters and prepare other raw shellfish with accuracy and care
  • engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • report to kitchen managers and supervisors
  • assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including oyster bar, knives, gloves, sinks and refrigeration equipment
