The role of an owner operator with DriverReady is more than just driving; it involves a comprehensive approach to maintaining consistent delivery schedules, adhering to safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and providing excellent customer service—particularly in furniture delivery contexts. Candidates must maintain operational capability of their vehicles Monday through Saturday and be comfortable lifting moderate weights and handling installation tools.

This position requires a valid driver’s license, commercial insurance, and a clean driving record. Furthermore, applicants will need to pass background checks, drug tests, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews to comply with safety and operational standards. Although having your driver and helper is advantageous, DriverReady also provides support in staffing if necessary, ensuring you have the right personnel to keep your operations moving efficiently.

Compensation for this contract, full-time role ranges from $1,400 to over $2,800 per week, reflecting the high volume and value of contracts available through the platform.
