Job Description
Valet Living is a prominent service company specializing in providing innovative residential amenity services to apartment communities across the United States. Known for its commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and property managers, Valet Living emphasizes cleanliness, convenience, and customer satisfaction. The company has garnered a reputation for engaging passionate individuals who are motivated to maintain welcoming environments in residential areas. Their holistic approach integrates technology, superior service, and reliability, ensuring a seamless and pleasant living experience for residents.
This particular job opportunity is for a part-time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, who will play a vital role in keeping apartment communities clean and presentable. The role is perfect for candidates seeking a physically active and mobile part-time job that offers the chance to earn extra income while maintaining a flexible schedule. The position requires an individual who owns and can operate a personal reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer. This requirement is crucial, as the job primarily involves collecting trash and recycling bags from residents' doorsteps within the apartment community and transporting those bags to the on-site trash compactor.
The job shifts are typically scheduled in the evening, usually Sunday through Thursday, starting at 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM. In this role, candidates can expect to work around 10 to 15 hours per week, making it an ideal opportunity for those searching for a supplementary income without a full-time commitment. Valet Living strives to assign service locations near employees' residences, emphasizing convenience and reducing commute times for the workers.
Employees will leverage Valet Living's proprietary mobile application to capture essential service details, including arrival and departure times, tracking progress, and even documenting any non-compliance through photos. The app usage facilitates transparency, accountability, and efficiency in daily operations. Candidates will enjoy an active work environment that involves walking extensively throughout the property, climbing stairs frequently, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Importantly, the role does not require lifting heavy bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping trash, making it manageable and focused on smaller-scale tasks.
Valet Living fosters a culture of safety and care by providing all necessary safety gear such as gloves and reflective vests. Candidates will also benefit from competitive pay at $18 per hour, fast payment options through DailyPay, and pathways for career advancement within the company, including leadership roles. Referral bonuses are available for employees who bring others into the team, enhancing the community feel of the workplace. The organization values hard work, reliability, and a sincere desire to make a positive difference in the communities served.
Moreover, Valet Living is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring an inclusive hiring process free of bias related to race, religion, national origin, gender identity, veteran status, or any other protected classification. The company places strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and fairness as part of its core values, making it a supportive place to build your career. This position promises rewarding experiences while contributing to cleaner, more attractive living environments for apartment residents.
