Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or veterinary reception preferred
  • ability to work overnight shifts including Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7 PM to 7 AM
  • strong communication skills
  • capacity to manage emotional situations with compassion
  • ability to use computer systems for appointment scheduling and client management
  • dependable and punctual
  • willingness to learn and grow within the company

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or veterinary reception preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong interpersonal and empathy abilities
  • ability to remain calm under pressure
  • proficient in basic computer software applications
  • experience in emergency or veterinary environments is an asset

Job Duties

  • Greet clients warmly with friendly eye contact
  • offer compassionate and professional acknowledgement upon hospital entry
  • listen attentively and provide emotional support
  • communicate clearly and calmly in person and on the telephone
  • assess clients' and pets' conditions promptly upon arrival
  • determine urgency of emergency cases accurately
  • respond to non-patient inquiries and direct to appropriate team members
  • confirm appointments and provide accurate preparation information
  • support grieving clients discreetly
  • coordinate with service agencies during handling of pet remains
