Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or veterinary reception preferred
- ability to work overnight shifts including Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7 PM to 7 AM
- strong communication skills
- capacity to manage emotional situations with compassion
- ability to use computer systems for appointment scheduling and client management
- dependable and punctual
- willingness to learn and grow within the company
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in customer service or veterinary reception preferred
- excellent communication skills
- strong interpersonal and empathy abilities
- ability to remain calm under pressure
- proficient in basic computer software applications
- experience in emergency or veterinary environments is an asset
Job Duties
- Greet clients warmly with friendly eye contact
- offer compassionate and professional acknowledgement upon hospital entry
- listen attentively and provide emotional support
- communicate clearly and calmly in person and on the telephone
- assess clients' and pets' conditions promptly upon arrival
- determine urgency of emergency cases accurately
- respond to non-patient inquiries and direct to appropriate team members
- confirm appointments and provide accurate preparation information
- support grieving clients discreetly
- coordinate with service agencies during handling of pet remains
