Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state or nearby commuting area
- One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Basic math proficiency
- Understanding of time systems and rates
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and move throughout the shift
- Willingness to work overnight shifts
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform safe vehicle handling including parking and retrieval operations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with understanding of American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, coworkers and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with professionalism and friendliness
- Use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage when needed
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and main area attractions
- Deliver messages, items or guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect them prior to issuing keys
- Complete and maintain ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
