Parking Management Company (PMC) is a nationally recognized leader specializing in hospitality-focused parking services. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, PMC dedicates its expertise to delivering a comprehensive range of parking and guest services including valet and self-parking management, shuttle services, event parking, as well as porter and bell services. The company operates across diverse industries, partnering with hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues to seamlessly extend the hospitality experience. Known for its commitment to excellence and a guest-first approach, PMC ensures that every interaction with guests reflects high-touch, professional service aimed at exceeding expectations and maintaining superior client satisfaction. As a respected employer within the hospitality services sector, PMC fosters a culture of integrity, reliability, and inclusivity while supporting continuous development and growth opportunities for its employees.
The Overnight Valet Parking Attendant plays a crucial role within PMC’s valet parking operations, tasked with providing exceptional guest service during late-night hours. This position requires the attendant to safely park and retrieve guest vehicles while maintaining the security and order of the parking environment throughout overnight shifts. Acting as the dedicated overnight representative of the hotel, the valet attendant’s professionalism, attentiveness, and commitment to guest satisfaction are essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests arriving or leaving during the less busy, but equally important, overnight timeframe. This role is designed for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a helpful attitude, and a passion for outstanding customer service. The position is classified as non-exempt and offers hourly compensation plus potential tips, with rates varying by market and tips awarded based on service quality and customer interactions. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available to accommodate various schedules.
This job demands physical stamina combined with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility. Duties include welcoming guests warmly and assisting with luggage and vehicle needs, conducting thorough vehicle inspections to document any pre-existing damages, following safety protocols meticulously while handling vehicles and keys, monitoring the parking area for security, maintaining a professional station appearance aligned with hotel standards, and accurately recording hours and gratuities. The role also supports teamwork by assisting other staff members and ensuring smooth overnight operations. Key qualities for success in this role include dependability, attention to detail, customer service proficiency, adaptability in dynamic environments, and adherence to safety regulations.
PMC supports employee growth through benefits such as health, vision, and dental insurance upon eligibility, 401K plans, supplemental insurance options including life and critical illness coverages, bonus opportunities, an internal leadership development program, paid time off, paid training, and access to tuition assistance through Bellevue University offering up to $5,250 annually. The company values diversity and inclusion, complies with all employment laws, and embraces equal opportunity hiring practices. Employees benefit from a supportive work environment governed by strict safety policies, with the added convenience of reimbursement for work-related cell phone usage in line with company guidelines. Overall, the Overnight Valet Parking Attendant role at PMC offers an excellent opportunity to join a growth-oriented, employee-focused company that prioritizes guest satisfaction and professional development.
