Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • At least one month of related experience or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money
  • Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
  • Ability to drive cautiously and safely
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, and balancing
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Sunday
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic using American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Familiarity with rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper phone etiquette
  • Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, and reservations
  • Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages and items as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary
