Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- At least one month of related experience or equivalent education
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money
- Ability to understand time systems and applicable rates
- Ability to drive cautiously and safely
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, and balancing
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work Monday through Sunday
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic using American money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Familiarity with rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles carefully and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, and reservations
- Provide information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages and items as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary
