Job Requirements
- Hold a high school diploma or GED
- Possess a valid driver’s license for the state of work or nearby state
- Have a minimum of one month of related experience or training
- Be able to read, write and comprehend basic English instructions
- Demonstrate knowledge of customer and personal service principles
- Be physically able to perform duties requiring lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Be able to work overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor
- Follow established practices and procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively to guests, clients and employees
- Ability to perform basic math operations with American money
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using professional and friendly demeanor and guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures upon arrival
- Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt consistently
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
