Job Description
Towne Park is a leading provider of parking services with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. The company is renowned for integrating cutting-edge technology with a personal touch to create seamless and convenient parking solutions for its clientele. Towne Park specializes in valet services and parking management, catering primarily to the hospitality industry, including hotels, healthcare facilities, and corporate clients. With its expansive network and dedication to excellence, Towne Park ensures that guests and customers receive courteous, professional, and efficient service every time they interact with the company.
The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park plays a vital part in the overall guest experience. This position is classified as an hourly role with a base pay range of $17.81 to $20 per hour, supplemented by tips and an additional shift differential of 50 cents for overnight shifts. The work schedule is designated primarily Friday through Sunday, catering to peak periods when guest interaction and parking demands are highest.
As a Guest Service Associate, you will be the face of Towne Park upon guests' arrival and departure, ensuring that every interaction reflects the company’s values of hospitality and exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include parking and retrieving vehicles with care and attention to safety, assisting guests with luggage, and providing valuable local information to enhance their visit. You will greet guests warmly, employing a professional and friendly demeanor and using last names to establish rapport and personalize service. The position calls for a blend of physical ability and excellent communication skills, as you will be managing vehicle logistics, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of vehicle information and parking activities.
This position requires someone who can work diligently in outdoor conditions and handle physical demands such as lifting and carrying luggage, standing or walking for extended periods, and safely operating vehicles, including performing parallel parking maneuvers. The work environment exposes employees to varying weather conditions, and flexibility is necessary to accommodate these elements while maintaining high service standards.
Additionally, the Guest Service Associate must adhere strictly to Towne Park’s operational procedures and safety protocols. Accuracy in handling claim checks, collecting payment, and coordinating communications between guests and the parking facility is essential for the smooth functioning of daily operations. Employees will also have the opportunity to enroll in benefit programs such as accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401k retirement savings plan, subject to eligibility criteria based on job classification and hours worked. However, seasonal and temporary roles may not qualify for some of these benefits.
Towne Park values individuals who are dependable, courteous, and committed to maintaining an inviting and professional environment. Candidates with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least one month of related experience or training are strongly encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will also demonstrate proficiency in basic math operations applicable to money handling, the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, and the capacity to work well both independently and as part of a team.
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a respected company in the parking and hospitality industry, where your contributions directly enhance the visitor experience. Towne Park is committed to investing in its workforce by providing ongoing training, a supportive work atmosphere, and competitive compensation. If you possess enthusiasm for service, skill in vehicle handling, and a passion for creating positive first and last impressions, the Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park may be an ideal fit for you.
