Job Description
Parking Management Company (PMC) is a national leader specializing in hospitality-focused parking services. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, PMC offers comprehensive parking management solutions including valet and self-parking services, shuttle transportation, event parking logistics, and porter/bell services. With a footprint spanning hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues across the nation, PMC distinguishes itself with a strong commitment to excellence and a guest-first approach. The company operates as a seamless extension of the hospitality experience, ensuring that guests receive high-quality, attentive, and professional parking services that elevate their overall stay or event experience. PMC actively fosters a workplace culture centered on integrity, growth opportunities, and community engagement, making it a respected employer in the hospitality services industry.
Joining PMC as an Overnight Valet Parking Attendant offers an opportunity to be a vital part of this guest service mission during late-night hours. The Overnight Valet Attendant plays a key role in managing parking operations once the hotel or venue's daytime activities have ceased. The role requires safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, conducting thorough vehicle inspections, and maintaining security within the parking area throughout the night. Acting as the overnight representative of the hospitality establishment, the attendant's professionalism, attentiveness, and courteous demeanor directly influence the guest experience, especially for arrivals or departures happening after traditional hours.
This full-time or part-time non-exempt position offers an hourly wage plus potential tips based on service quality and guest interactions, with compensation reflective of market rates. The Overnight Valet Attendant is expected to greet guests warmly, help with luggage and vehicle needs, complete meticulous documentation for vehicle conditions to protect both guest and hotel interests, and uphold all safety protocols for vehicle handling and parking lot security. Additionally, the attendant supports team operations by maintaining an orderly valet station area and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth overnight functionality. The position demands physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds and requires readiness to work in varying weather conditions that might include heat, cold, or rain.
PMC prioritizes equal employment opportunity and complies fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act, offering reasonable accommodations to enable success for all employees. The company also maintains transparency in pay and adheres strictly to all labor laws including FLSA guidelines for overtime, workers' compensation, and family leave benefits. Employees can expect access to a range of health benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance upon eligibility, as well as supplemental insurance, 401K savings plans, paid time off, tuition assistance, paid training, bonuses, and opportunities for growth within the nationwide company network. This position requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to reliably commute to work.
The Overnight Valet Parking Attendant role offers a rewarding career path for customer service-oriented individuals who thrive in dynamic, hospitality-driven environments, appreciate the value of security and vehicle safety, and aim to deliver outstanding guest experiences every night.
