The Overnight Valet Attendant role at PMC offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional guest service during late-night hours. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards synonymous with PMC and its partner hotels. The overnight valet is entrusted with safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, maintaining vigilance to secure the parking area, and acting as the representative of the hotel during overnight hours. This means that professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive approach are vital to fostering a welcoming and secure environment for late-arriving or departing guests.
The position demands punctuality, a professional appearance in full uniform, and strict adherence to all hotel policies and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include warmly greeting guests, assisting with luggage, performing detailed vehicle inspections to record existing damages, and following rigorous safety protocols while managing vehicles. The valet ensures the cleanliness and organization of the valet station to reflect the hotel's high standards and is responsible for accurate timekeeping and gratuity recording according to company policies. Outstanding customer service is paramount, requiring courteous and clear communication to address guest inquiries effectively.
Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended durations, with work conducted both indoors and outdoors across varying weather conditions. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is essential given the overnight nature of the role. Communication tools such as radios or phones are regularly used for coordination. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations in the past three years
- pass a background check
- evening, weekend, and holiday availability
- ability to stand, walk, run short distances, and lift up to 50 pounds
- comply with uniform and grooming standards
- use communication tools such as phones and radios for work-related purposes

- monitor and secure the parking area throughout the night, responding quickly to guest requests and concerns
- maintain a clean, organized, and professional valet station reflective of the hotel’s high standards
- accurately record hours and gratuities in compliance with company policies
- provide outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- arrive punctually, dressed in full uniform, and comply with all hotel policies and safety guidelines
- support team members and assist with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth overnight operations
