Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
One month related experience or training
Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
Ability to present information effectively
Basic arithmetic skills
Understanding of 24 hour and military time
Ability to understand rates related to time passed
Ability to operate manual transmission is desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English language
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and employees
Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s using American money units
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to appropriate approved places
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt for all vehicles
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
