Job Description

Parking Management Company (PMC) is a nationally recognized leader specializing in hospitality-focused parking services. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, PMC offers comprehensive parking solutions that include valet and self-parking management, shuttle services, event parking, and porter/bell services. Serving various industries such as hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, and event venues, PMC distinguishes itself by acting as an extension of the hospitality experience. The company's guest-first approach ensures delivery of seamless, high-touch service that meets the expectations of partners and guests alike. With a commitment to excellence, PMC continues to expand its footprint across the nation, providing innovative parking management services that combine operational efficiency with outstanding customer care.

The Overnight Valet Attendant position at PMC presents a unique opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining high standards of guest service and parking security during overnight hours. The role demands a professional, attentive, and personable individual who can represent the hotel positively when most guests are arriving or departing during late-night times. This position involves safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles while performing thorough vehicle inspections and maintaining the security of the parking area throughout the night.

As an overnight representative, the valet attendant will be the face of the hotel’s parking operations, tasked with offering courteous greetings, assisting with luggage, managing key handling procedures, and adhering to safety protocols. The role is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized valet station that reflects the hotel’s commitment to quality and professionalism.

This full-time or part-time position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning it is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek. Compensation includes an hourly base rate plus potential tips, with pay rates varying by market and tips earned based on service performance and customer interactions. PMC is committed to wage transparency and equitable compensation aligned with all federal, state, and local laws. An introductory 120-day period applies to new hires.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and exhibit a helpful attitude, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellent guest service. Having prior customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, maintain a clean motor vehicle record, and be able to pass a background check to safeguard both guests and company interests.

Working conditions include both indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to various weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, run short distances, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability are essential for this position.

PMC offers a variety of benefits to support its employees, including medical, vision, and dental insurance upon eligibility, 401K retirement plans, supplemental life and critical illness insurance, paid time off, paid training, bonus opportunities, an internal leadership development program, tuition assistance through Bellevue University, nationwide growth opportunities, and access to employee discounts through Perks at Work. PMC is also a military-friendly employer committed to equal opportunity, ADA compliance, and maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace for all employees.
