As a professional Shuttle Driver at The Parking Spot, you will play a critical role in the daily operations by safely and courteously transporting customers between the parking facility and airport terminals. This is a full-time, overnight position that offers a competitive pay rate of $18.87 per hour plus opportunities for tips in both cash and mobile forms. Shuttle Drivers are essential in ensuring a smooth, safe, and pleasant travel experience for all customers who rely on The Parking Spot services. The role demands adherence to safety protocols, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Beyond the core duty of driving, Shuttle Drivers engage in safety inspections, customer interactions, and may support other frontline tasks through cross-training. This role requires a Class B commercial driver’s license with a passenger endorsement, reflecting the company’s commitment to safety and professionalism. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school education or equivalent
  • currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the employee handbook
  • currently holds a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement
  • must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process
  • ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • high school education or equivalent
  • previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
  • currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the employee handbook
  • currently holds a CDL and any applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
  • must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
  • can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations that require these skills
  • ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation

Job Duties

  • Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
  • perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
  • provide pleasant customer service
  • demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
  • cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
  • may cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
  • comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
  • perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management
