The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a critical position responsible for representing the company’s dedication to premium hospitality and guest service. This position primarily focuses on providing attentive, friendly, and efficient valet and guest service operations during overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am. The successful candidate will play a vital part in greeting guests courteously, parking and retrieving vehicles safely, and assisting guests with luggage and other inquiries to ensure a seamless and positive experience. This role requires a professional demeanor, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and compliance with Towne Park’s policies.
Employees in this role receive competitive compensation starting at $17 per hour plus tips ranging from $4 to $8 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair and rewarding pay. Additionally, Towne Park offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes options for accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine, and a 401k retirement savings plan. These benefits are available based on job classification, length of employment, and hours worked, providing financial security and wellness support for eligible employees. It is important to note that seasonal and temporary positions are not eligible for these benefits.
As a Guest Service Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of essential functions that include maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor toward guests and colleagues, greeting guests promptly and using their last names to personalize interactions, and utilizing professional phone etiquette. You will be tasked with safely parking and retrieving vehicles by driving slowly and cautiously, helping guests with bell services, storing luggage where applicable, and opening vehicle and building doors to provide an added level of service. Your role also extends to assisting guests with directions, transportation arrangements, reservations, and providing information about local venues and amenities. Additionally, you will manage parking rates, explain retrieval procedures, issue and collect claim checks, and accurately complete all related documentation like key tags, damage surveys, and revenue calculations.
This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow specific procedures consistently, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Your decisions and actions will directly contribute to the smooth operation and excellent reputation of Towne Park. Physical demands include the capacity to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, work outdoors through varying weather conditions, and perform tasks that require walking, standing, climbing, and handling objects. The role also involves occasional travel of up to 5%, enhancing engagement with different facility locations. Towne Park promotes an inclusive work environment and supports reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, ensuring all associates can perform the essential functions effectively and with dignity.
