Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
minimum one year of relevant housekeeping experience
physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend frequently
ability to work overnight shifts
willingness to work in damp environments
ability to use cleaning machinery and chemicals safely
reliable and punctual
excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

at least one year housekeeping experience in a business environment
adequate reading and writing skills
demonstrated ability to perform cleaning, mopping, and trash removal
ability to work with general cleaning chemicals and solutions
physical ability to stand for long periods and walk and bend frequently
willingness to work in damp locations
ability to provide on-call service

Job Duties

perform general housekeeping duties within assigned areas
maintain floors through stripping, refinishing, waxing, and buffing
clean classrooms, kitchens, offices, corridors, and stairways
maintain cleanliness of washroom fixtures and surfaces
clean study areas, glassware, labs, lecture halls, lounges, recreational and fitness centers, pool and game rooms
operate floor machines and other cleaning equipment as needed
provide on-call service for emergency cleaning situations
perform additional duties as assigned
