Job Requirements

  • At least one year of housekeeping experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards

  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their uses, as well as cleaning equipment, is a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Job Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning of room turns, common areas, dining spaces, and administrative offices, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
  • Follow the community cleaning schedule and protocol according to community guidelines and follow established safety precautions
  • Build positive relationships with residents by engaging in friendly, respectful interactions
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or resident needs to a supervisor
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and according to instructions
  • Follow infection control and sanitation protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of waste
