Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- One month related experience or training or equivalent education
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English
- Ability to present information effectively
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Understanding of military time and parking rates
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Physically capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to work night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with units of American money
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates related to time
- Skilled in parallel parking
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using their last names
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette and post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Provide guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and information about facility amenities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue and collect claim checks appropriately
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tags, guest folios, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim check receipts
- Calculate and collect parking revenue when necessary
