The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is a vital position focused on providing outstanding hospitality and service during overnight shifts. This role involves managing vehicle parking and retrieval with a strong emphasis on safety and customer care. Working in an overnight schedule from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, the associate is expected to remain alert and professional while interacting courteously with guests and other staff. Compensation for this role includes an hourly base pay ranging between $15 and $17, with additional tips estimated between $17 and $20 per hour, offering a competitive total earning potential.

In addition to managing vehicle operations, the Guest Service Associate serves as a helpful resource by providing directions, managing guest inquiries about local amenities and transportation, and supporting the daily functionality of the parking system with accurate ticketing and payment processing. This role demands physical stamina as it involves standing or walking for extended periods, lifting luggage or objects up to 100 pounds occasionally, and working in various weather conditions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to work overnight shifts from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to speak and hear clearly
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English
  • Ability to lift and move luggage and objects as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within a commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic operations involving American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions and correspondence

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly approach
  • Use guest last names during interactions
  • Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
  • Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries
  • Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt
  • Calculate and collect revenue from vehicles when needed
