We are currently seeking a Front Office Manager who will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operations of the front desk and enhancing guest satisfaction. This is a full-time role that involves overseeing all front office activities, including staffing, training, and daily management of front desk personnel such as agents, supervisors, bell staff, concierge, and PBX operators. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of front office procedures and the MICROS system, with an ability to handle discrepancies and ensure accurate transaction records.
The Front Office Manager will be responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels, interviewing and hiring suitable candidates, and supervising their performance to uphold the company’s exemplary service standards. Key responsibilities also include fostering strong communication between departments like Housekeeping and Engineering to address guest requests and maintenance needs promptly. Additionally, the role requires one to interact cordially and professionally with guests, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently while addressing inquiries and providing assistance. This position requires flexibility as it may involve working varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements
- Ability to calmly work with high demand and or upset guests
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- May be required to work varying schedules to include nights weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications
- Experience in hotel front office management or related role
- Proficiency with front office software such as MICROS
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hospitality management education is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure proper staffing levels of front office associates including interviewing hiring supervising training and scheduling front desk agents front office supervisors guest service aides bell staff concierge staff and PBX operators
- Have complete understanding of front office staff's roles and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time
- Accurately manage and operate the MICROS system at the front office including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often
- Accurately check AM and PM discrepancy reports
- Communicate with Housekeeping and Engineering Departments regarding guest rooms requests and maintenance requests needs
- Efficiently process guest requests to the appropriate departments
- Greet and communicate cordially with guests promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel answering questions and assisting guests with needs
