Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent preferably in luxury hotel
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up
  • Ability to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment
  • Ability to follow directions thoroughly
  • Ability to understand guest’s service needs
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
  • Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to input and access information in property management systems
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding guests
  • Ability to perform job functions under pressure
  • Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guests and their information
  • Previous OPERA experience preferred
  • Mid-level to advanced computer skills
  • Fluent in English, fluency in additional languages preferred
  • Physical ability to transport 35 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles

Job Duties

  • Support, maintain and adhere to all safety, health and sanitary guidelines issued by Rosewood, CDC, OSHA, Federal and local DC Government
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards
  • Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level daily
  • Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, using it only as intended
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
