The role of a Team Member at Applegreen is full-time and integral to sustaining their service excellence. The Team Member is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a clean and well-stocked environment, accurately processing payment transactions, preparing and serving quality food, and supporting various operational needs of the plaza. In addition to traditional customer service duties, Team Members at Applegreen engage in tasks that include food safety adherence, product handling such as wrapping, labeling, and temperature checks, and maintaining sanitation standards across the workstation and equipment. Job Requirements
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, twist, lift, and carry at least 40 pounds
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and policy documents
- Comfortable conversing with customers
- Available to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrates ability to interact with public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards beneficial
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for transaction processing
Job Duties
- Provide friendly customer service by engaging positively with customers
- Operate point-of-sale system and process payments accurately
- Follow food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and temperature checks
- Prepare and serve food including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning
- Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment
- Actively cross-sell and up-sell products
- Maintain knowledge of products and services available
- Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies
- Execute additional assigned tasks
