Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a bakery or food production environment
  • strong knowledge of bread and pastry production including mixing, shaping, proofing, baking
  • understanding of GMP, food safety standards, and bakery equipment
  • excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • must have a clean driving record
  • valid RI Food Safety Manager Certificate or ability to obtain
  • able to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk up to 8 hours
  • able to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a bakery or food production environment

  • understanding of GMP, food safety standards, and bakery equipment
  • excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • must have a clean driving record and valid RI Food Safety Manager Certificate or ability to obtain
  • bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Supervise and train overnight baking, packing, and delivery teams
  • ensure product quality and consistency across all items
  • schedule and manage staff, ensuring shift coverage and performance
  • maintain sanitation and GMP standards, bakery cleanliness, and equipment
  • support product development and seasonal offerings
  • manage delivery logistics to cafes and wholesale partners
  • use 7Shifts and internal tools to track performance and communicate daily updates
  • partner with leadership on staffing, training, and operational improvements
