Currently, Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking an Outside Sales Development Associate/Sales Manager for one of our well-recognized food service clients. This exciting contract role, based in Jackson, Mississippi, with a start date of March 31, offers competitive compensation at $29.00 per hour on a W2 basis plus unlimited commission. The contract is for a duration of 6+ months with a strong possibility of extension, reflecting ongoing business growth and demand.

The position is designed for a motivated sales professional who is responsible for expanding the client base within an assigned territory. Ideal candidates will have experience working within the food and beverage industry, particularly selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) such as restaurants. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, including face-to-face interactions with clients and significant travel within a two-hour radius around Jackson. Reimbursement for travel expenses is provided, ensuring logistical support for your efforts.

As an Associate, Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) for emerging markets, you will coordinate closely with a Regional Sales Manager within the outside sales team. This role grants you access to vital market and partnership information as well as essential sales tools such as sales sheets, gift cards, and business cards. The position primarily involves direct client engagement, enabling you to build meaningful relationships and drive substantial sales growth.

Candidates who bring at least 2.5 years of sales experience in closing roles or related fields will find this opportunity rewarding. Job Requirements

  • 2.5 plus years of sales experience in a closing role or related experience
  • ability to travel at least 50 percent of the time to destination markets

  • reside within 40 minutes of Jackson, MS
