The Outreach Executive I role at Oak Street Health is central to expanding their patient community by engaging Medicare seniors and facilitating their access to personalized healthcare services. Outreach Executives work closely with Outreach Managers, Outreach Directors, and Community Relationship Managers to generate new patient growth within their designated territories. The position involves building strong relationships with local community members and stakeholders, including insurance agents and other referral sources, to create effective pathways for patient acquisition.

This is a full-time position focused on innovative and community-driven sales activities tailored to the senior demographic. The Outreach Executive is responsible for generating leads through various outreach methods such as event execution, local community engagement, direct prospecting, and leveraging digital channels. They must maintain current knowledge of company services, programs, and initiatives to effectively communicate value propositions and address patient concerns.

Beyond lead generation, Outreach Executives play a critical role in nurturing prospective patients by maintaining regular contact through phone, email, and in-person networking. They serve as a primary liaison between prospective patients and clinical or center teams, ensuring seamless communication and patient satisfaction. Executives are expected to manage timelines and priorities efficiently to meet ambitious new patient growth goals while operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates are skilled relationship builders with the ability to influence and connect quickly, navigate external barriers, and contribute as team players. Prior sales or healthcare experience is beneficial, reflecting the need for a professional who can adapt to patient-focused sales strategies. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in sales or healthcare preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to engage and influence Medicare seniors effectively
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking systems
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory
  • US work authorization

Job Duties

  • Generating leads by effectively engaging Medicare senior community through event execution and local community outreach
  • Maintaining internal sales system knowledge and marketing programs by attending scheduled meetings to learn about new updates on services, workstreams, and initiatives
  • Prospecting and cold calling to prospects and new leads assigned to you
  • Nurturing prospective patients and prospecting for new patients with an ambitious mentality via email, phone, and networking
  • Collaborating with your Community Relationship Manager, other Outreach Executives, and your Outreach Manager/Outreach Director to drive lead generation with local community members or Insurance Agents
  • Maintaining consistent touchpoints with prospects to continuously engage prospects to drive new patient growth in assigned territory
  • Capture and record customer information and sales activity into customer relationship management (CRM) system and other business systems
  • Acting as point of contact for both the clinical team/center team if center staff have any questions about the patient
  • Resolving any concerns and complaints new prospects and patients may have about Oak Street Health by working with prospect to understand the concern or directing the prospect or patient to another Oak Street employee
  • Other duties as assigned
