Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certification upon hire if not already certified
- must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules including weekends and holidays
- must have guest service experience preferably in an upscale setting
- must be able to multi-task in a busy environment
- must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- must have strong communication skills
- must maintain a clean and professional image at all times

Job Duties
- Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
- acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond to guest inquiries or requests
- effectively merchandise food and beverage menus in an informative and friendly manner
- communicate with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- clean and reset dirty tables according to standards
- clean and polish water glasses and silverware
- monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- prepare work area for either opening or closing in accordance with company standards
- ensure furniture and floors are kept clean and arranged
- attend staff meetings to receive information and direction
- contribute to a professional workplace that maximizes employee morale, productivity and effectiveness
- perform additional responsibilities as requested by a manager
- insure responsible service of alcohol by following all legal requirements including carding and consumption
- accurately take food and beverage orders and promptly record all transactions in the Micros system
- maintain guest tabs and facilitate payment following procedures
- serve food and beverage to guests following company steps of service and adhere to service times
- follow daily checklists and side work
- set-ups, stocks and breakdown of service and dining room following procedures
- complete all assigned cleaning duties
- comply with direction and instruction from the management team
