Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years as AGM or GM in a four- or five-star environment
  • experience managing high-volume upscale food and beverage operations
  • knowledge of fine dining service, wine sales, and luxury guest experience
  • computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • TABC and Food Handler Certifications
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to multitask
  • neat and well-groomed appearance
  • adherence to uniform standards including slip-resistant enclosed-toe footwear
  • ability to understand written and spoken English
  • physical strength stamina and agility to perform essential duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • higher education preferred
  • minimum 3 years of experience as an AGM or GM in a four- or five-star environment
  • proven success in managing high-volume, upscale food and beverage operations
  • strong knowledge of fine dining service, wine sales, and luxury guest experience
  • computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • familiarity with Aloha a plus
  • TABC and Food Handler Certifications required
  • OSHA Hazard Communication training encouraged
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional service to members and guests, ensuring a warm, professional, and personalized experience
  • maintain the elevated image and standards of the Iron Horse Hotel
  • implement and follow training materials, policies, and service manuals
  • lead new hire onboarding, continuous staff training, and performance coaching
  • manage administrative tasks, including team scheduling, payroll, and labor forecasting
  • monitor and manage inventory, place orders, and ensure availability of supplies
  • interview, hire, and manage associates in accordance with company policies, including disciplinary action when required
  • drive revenue growth through service enhancements, upselling, and strategic initiatives
  • oversee daily operations of the Ash restaurant and some oversight of the other outlets
  • manage opening and closing procedures, including floor plans, lighting, temperature control, and financial closeouts
  • maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and hygiene across all areas
  • monitor and manage dining room ambiance, table settings, and guest readiness
  • supervise and develop the service team to ensure excellence in hospitality and service delivery
  • collaborate with the Director of F&B, Executive Chef, and other F&B leaders on menu development, waste reduction, and event planning
  • support other Hotels outlets and departments as needed
  • lead upselling strategies for wine, cocktails, and special menu offerings
  • use reservation platforms effectively to optimize table turns and guest flow
  • ensure guest feedback is handled promptly and professionally
  • adjust offerings and operations seasonally to match guest needs and hotel activity
