Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse or outbound operations management
- Prior experience managing teams and leading performance initiatives
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST
- Capable of providing direction and mentoring to a diverse team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
- Must be able to address disciplinary issues and enforce company policies
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in outbound or warehouse management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and related software
- Ability to analyze data and key performance indicators
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
- Aptitude for problem-solving and operational strategy development
Job Duties
- Oversee all processes and procedures for outbound operations including picking and packing
- Ensure the picking and packing teams are staffed appropriately to operate at peak efficiency and complete all assigned tasks daily
- Manage the work performance of each member of the outbound leadership team to ensure productivity standards and KPI metrics are consistently met
- Identify, lead, and support continuous initiatives that improve customer service, accuracy, and productivity while reducing operating costs
- Determine the root cause of process opportunities, address issues and pilot resolutions to standard
- Partner and communicate with management/leadership to ensure alignment of objectives, problem solve, provide operational updates, and develop new operational procedures and strategies
- Deliver performance reviews and conduct monthly check-ins with each member of the outbound leadership team to establish rapport and provide feedback
- Address performance-related incidents and recommend course of action on all disciplinary and personnel issues
- Train and develop team leads and associates through coaching, mentoring, and effective communication to develop a strong culture of employee engagement
