Job Description
System Transport is a prominent freight transportation company specializing in flatbed trucking services across the Western region of the United States. With a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer service, System Transport has built a reputable presence in the logistics industry. The company operates a regional division focused on transporting important goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Known for its dedication to driver satisfaction, System Transport offers competitive pay packages, comprehensive benefits, and a strong support system for its employees, making it a sought-after employer for professional truck drivers.
Currently, System Transport is hiring experienced over-the-road (OTR) flatbed CDL-A drivers. This role involves driving flatbed trucks primarily within the western region of America, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of essential freight. As an OTR flatbed CDL-A driver at System Transport, you will be responsible for managing loads that require particular care, such as securing tarps on heavy materials and handling over-dimensional freight. The company emphasizes a strong safety culture and offers a pay structure that rewards experience, attendance, and service length, along with additional pay for special tasks like tarp handling, detention, stops, and border crossings.
This position offers exciting opportunities for drivers who enjoy a mix of route variety and the challenge of hauling different types of freight. Drivers will benefit from paid orientation in Spokane, Washington, where System Transport covers airfare, lodging, and meals during training, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. The fleet is equipped with modern equipment and the company supports a healthy work-life balance through generous paid time off policies and transition packages.
System Transport ensures drivers enjoy full benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Drivers also have access to a health savings account and employee assistance programs, helping maintain their well-being both on and off the road. The company adopts a strict pet policy but welcomes guest riders over age seven following a period of safe driving, enhancing driver morale and road companionship.
Ideal candidates for this position will have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and experience operating flatbed rigs, although some flexibility in experience is offered. Physical ability to lift tarps and secure cargo is essential, as is a clean background check and drug test. System Transport values diversity and inclusivity, offering equal opportunity to all applicants and ensuring a fair hiring process.
Joining System Transport means becoming part of a professional team that values safety, efficiency, and driver well-being. The company’s slogan, "America Proud, Flatbed Strong," reflects its pride in its workforce and the vital role drivers play in the supply chain. If you are an experienced CDL-A driver looking for a supportive company with excellent pay and benefits, this opportunity at System Transport is one to consider. The application deadline is March 31, 2026, so prospective drivers are encouraged to apply promptly and take advantage of this rewarding career path.
