Job Description

System Transport is a leading transportation company specializing in flatbed trucking across the western region of the United States. Renowned for its commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent employee care, the company has made a name for itself by delivering a wide range of materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. With a strong presence in the industry, System Transport prides itself on maintaining a professional work environment and supporting its drivers with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and supportive management. The company is known for its emphasis on safety and operational excellence, ensuring that all employees can thrive in a structured yet friendly setting. Joining System Transport means becoming part of a dedicated team that values quality, professionalism, and growth within the transportation sector.

System Transport is currently hiring experienced OTR (Over The Road) flatbed CDL-A drivers to join their regional division 295. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive in the western U.S. routes while handling valuable cargo that requires careful and skilled transportation. Drivers earn between $46,956 and $82,940 per year, with pay based on experience, routes, attendance, and length of service. The pay package includes base mileage compensation ranging from $0.52 to $0.66 per mile, as well as additional pay for tarp work, stop time, detention, border crossings, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional loads when applicable. New hires are welcomed with a paid orientation program held in Spokane, Washington, where airfare, lodging, and meals are provided to facilitate a smooth transition into the company. Orientation preparation ensures drivers are ready to receive their trucks promptly by the end of the week.

Beyond the competitive salary, System Transport offers excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Disability coverage, health savings account options, a 401(k) plan with company match, and employee assistance programs are available to eligible employees after a waiting period. Drivers accrue paid sick and PTO time, with increased benefits for long-term service, reflecting the company's dedication to employee well-being. While pets are not allowed, the company does permit guest riders aged seven and above following 90 days of safe driving, highlighting a family-friendly approach within operational policies.

Candidates are required to have a valid Class A CDL license and a minimum of four months of driving experience, though one year is preferred. A clean driving record, passing background check, drug test, and clearinghouse results are mandatory, underscoring the company's high safety standards. Physical ability is essential, as flatbed drivers must be capable of lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a five-foot platform during loading operations. This physical test is conducted during orientation to ensure readiness. With an application deadline of March 31, 2026, System Transport invites qualified drivers seeking a stable and rewarding career to apply and become "America Proud, Flatbed Strong" with the company. This opportunity combines competitive pay, outstanding benefits, and a supportive work environment for long-term success.
